Mirror
By Jessica Williams
When I look in the mirror,
I see me.
The reddish hair and blue eyes,
my smile and thoughts.
I can see through my
skin and into my heart,
looking into who I really am.
Then I hear a giggle,
looking through the window.
She looks through the glass
to my face
Screening me from head to waist.
All she sees is what's on display.
Not the true characteristics that
make up me.
Just a personless body is all she sees.
